Tour Flow
A Day Trip Ski Bus Tour
~Guidance from Departure to Return~
Meet-up・Check-in
Please gather at the designated meeting place and time for each tour. Please check the meeting place in advance and allow plenty of time to arrive there, since it may be difficult to find in case at a large urban station. Additionally, there are several tour companies that may have the same or nearby meeting points for tours other than ski tours, so please be careful. At the meeting place, you will receive information about the bus you will take and any necessary tickets for the tour. After check-in, you will move to the bus boarding area; however, at urban stations, the bus boarding area may be located some distance away, so arriving just in time for departure may not be sufficient. Therefore, please make sure to gather at the specified meeting time.
Boarding a Bus
Many people use ski tours departing from Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, with numerous ski buses leaving from each location. The seats on the buses are assigned in advance, so please check the seating chart before boarding.
Departure
Let's head to the ski resort! During the journey to the ski resort, you will take approximately one break (or more). The rest stops are predetermined locations set by the tour company (or bus company). According to Japanese regulations, the driver's continuous driving time must be within four hours, so we will take breaks approximately every 2 to 3 hours.
Arrival at the Ski Resort
Once we arrive at the ski resort, let's change and prepare for skiing at the center house. Most facilities are in this center house such as the lift ticket counter, rental shop, restaurant, school, and shop. The check-in locations and procedures may vary depending on the tour company, so be sure to check in advance. One important point to note is that in Japan, there are multiple ski resorts in the same area, and sometimes tour companies operate buses to nearby ski resorts together. When you arrive at the ski resort, please confirm which ski resort you have reached (e.g., Sapporo → Rusutsu → Niseko).
Enjoy Skiing
Let's head out to the ski slopes and enjoy the beautiful snow and scenery in Japan, as well as skiing and snowboarding!
Departure from the Ski Resort
Please gather at the designated meeting place when it is time to return. Depending on the tour company, they may operate a bus that picks customers up from nearby ski resorts, so the bus may not arrive until the departure time. (e.g., Niseko → Rusutsu → Sapporo) Additionally, in Japan, it is common to use a 24-hour clock format, so please be careful not to mistake the time. (In Japan, it is more common to write "departure at 16:00" rather than "departure at 4:00PM.")
Return
Once you arrive at your destination, please check carefully to ensure you have not left anything behind, and there are no mix-ups with your luggage. We hope you enjoyed skiing in Japan. We look forward to your next visit!
